Finally got the carb off the quad and to the dealer. Found the were several of the jets did have debris in them. Also removed the brass plug on the idle needle. The idle was soo lean it was no wonder I had to leave the choke on for 20 minutes and even then it didn't want to idle well. The factory setting is 2.5 turns out on the idle screw, and this was found at 5 turns? All is good now.
