2010 Outlaw 450 mxr Brake-in period?
Just recently, I purchased my first quad (2010 outlaw 450 mxr) and wanted to know if there is a brake-in period for the engine? If so, what do I need to do. I have a big trip coming up and wanted to make sure nothing goes wrong.

Ride it, first tank of gas then change the oil. Then ride it some more. Simple and easy, don't bother with the half or whatever throttle crap.

I think Polaris has the break-in process outlined in the owners manual. Not sure it would be the same as a Sportsman. Something like no full throttle, heavy loads or towing, no extended idle. Just take it easy for 10 hours.

I was told by a salesman to drive it like you will normally do it and that has worked for me many times, never had a problem.
