2010 550 sportsman oil recommodations

Has anyone used any other oil than what Polaris sells and doesn't put the viscosity on?

In a cold climate where you live, I would use AMSOIL Powersports 0W-40 synthetic or Arctic Cat's 0W-40 oil synthetic.

I don't like the "pour point" on the new Polaris recommended 0W-50 (or 2W-50 or 5W-50) or whatever the hell they call it now. There old 0W-40 oil had a pour point of -58 F. The new stuff has a pour point of -20 F.

Thanks North Branch. I intend to use their oil for my first oil change that I will be doing today but intend to find a new filter and oil supplier for future changes.
