2011 Polaris Sportsman X2 550

The 2011 Polaris Sportsman X2 550 is the most versatile ATV on the planet. The perfect utility ATV in rear-cargo mode and touring ATV in 2-Up mode. New: more seat foam increases passenger comfort.

Key features are:
•549cc SOHC EFI Engine

•1-Up & 2-Up Versatility In Seconds
•On-Demand True All-Wheel Drive (AWD) With Versatrac Turf Mode
•Anti-Kickback Steering

Features:

1-Up And 2-Up Versatility In Seconds
Switches from work to play in seconds. Rear dump box features a 400-lb. capacity and, in three easy steps, goes from 1-up work mode to 2-up play mode in less than 10 seconds.

New! Passenger Seat Design
We added 21% more seat foam for a total of 4" of seat padding, to increase passenger comfort on those long rides.

Huge Front Storage
Huge Front Storage Box With 8.2-Gallon Storage Capacity

On-Demand True All-Wheel Drive (AWD) With Versatrac Turf Mode
True AWD keeps you moving, automatically engaging all four wheels when you need more forward traction and reverting back to 2WD when you don’t. When in 2WD, the VersaTrac Turf Mode switch unlocks the rear differential for easier, tighter turns to minimize damage to sensitive terrain.

Anti-Kickback Steering
Placing the steering axis near the neutral center of the tire and having the long Dual A-Arm Front Suspension dramatically reduces kickback and minimizes rider fatigue that comes with jolts to the handlebars from trail and ground obstacles.

Active Descent Control (ADC) And Engine Braking System (EBS)
Work together to monitor and control downhill braking to give you optimum control and smooth, even deceleration during descents.

Roll Ed Independent Rear Suspension IRS
With 10.25" of suspension travel, our proven Rolled IRS is angled rearward to keep the ride smooth for you and your passenger and reduce squat while accelerating

Just got mine 2 weeks ago. Out the door @ $7616. I thought that was pretty good with an MSRP of $8999. I love this machine so far. My wife can't believe how comfortable it is to ride in the 2-up seat.

Have had it a month now. Very happy that I did not get a touring. This thing is so easy to steer I will not miss the power steering.
