Placing the steering axis near the neutral center of the tire and having the long Dual A-Arm Front Suspension dramatically reduces kickback and minimizes rider fatigue that comes with jolts to the handlebars from trail and ground obstacles.

On-Demand True All Wheel Drive (AWD)

Does anybody know if some of the new features can be retrofitted to a 2010 model. Bigger Fuel tank and removable passenger grips and rear storage box. These would be nice to add to mine. Maybe Blueline 15 can find out?

I just bought the 2011 only because of the features. as much gas as it burns I'm glad I did. and I love to be abale to make the back rack flat with the axtra tool box. and the handles come off very easy. I also have e o7, outlander Max that irealy like but the 850 touring is much nicer.

Does ANYONE know how the turning radius of a 2011 touring compares to the regular XP? Even the dealers don't know. Another question the dealers can't seem to answer is how does the 850 compare to the fuel economy of the 550? I understand that many factors enter into mpg, but under similar conditions, someone should know what the PERCENTAGE difference is. This is important to me concerning which one I purchase. I am aware that the 2011 tank holds 16 percent more fuel. Many thanks to those who can provide this information.

I don't know how much gas the 550 will use. But my 850 touring uses much more than my can-am 650 max. I am hoping its just because it's new and everything is very tight. The turning radius Im not sure of but the wheel base is 4" longer and is 1/2 shorter than my can-am. With the more rack space befind the rear seat on the Outlander it's a total of 8" lomger overall. The polaris touring is and does to turn shorter than the can am. Its worth the longer wheel base for the improved ride.
