Anybody have any experience installing the Quadivator 3 Headlight Mod.
Not sure how difficult or easy this is.
Also was wondering how much of a drain on the battery it causes when in use.

The headlight mod took me about an hour. I took my time and soldiered the connections. There was less play in the harness than I expected. Even after clipping all the tye-wraps on the bars.
As far as drain, I cant say. I haven't run it for any extended time with the lights on yet.

Breaking in my new 2012 now....Just got it last friday. Im at the 8 Mile mark. Last night I got to wash her for the first time. I was happy to see that it still looked new...lol

Going back to the dealer at the 10 mile mark for initial service..

Probably take it to the dealer for all servicing until the warranty is up atleast. Not looking forward to servicing the front diff. Winch has to come off to access the fill plug.

I have not installed my winch yet, but was thinking the exact same thing.

However, upon further examination, I believe you should be able to loosen the top 2 bracket bolts, and fully remove the bottom 2, and tilt it up.

Also, they make these funnel's with vinyl hoses at walmart...use that to fill it. THey also make sockets with hex wrench ends in them; about $10-$20 a set at walmart (stanley brand). Sears also sells them. I bought both metric and sae sets, as well as the torx set 3-4 years ago and it has been a very good investment with the polaris...especially the torx!
