I've had the Droid for about a year and still very happy with it.

I'll stick with it until end of contract and see what's out then.

I know a ton of people will be happy. Consumer Reports rated AT&T last in just about every market sampled.

I have an iPhone on AT&T. Its nice but I wish the screen was a bit bigger like that EVO 4G. If I didn't have so many iPhone apps that I paid for I probably would try another phone.

I've had the IPhone for over a year and never had any issues with service for at&t. AT&T has been my service for 10 years now never really had any problems. Work wants us all to switch to the droid (ugh) I just got use to this phone

I just got the Droid 2 Global three weeks ago for me and the wife3. I have one more week to figure out if I want to get the iPhone since Verizon gives you a months testing. I was originally a blackberry user. Loved the email push and how easy it was to use. The D2G is not as easy. Very hard to use a a phone IMO. But other than that is its a great phone. More like a mini computer. I do like the slider keyboard but not the poor battery life.

I've got the original Droid and never had a problem with the battery life. Playing games or Navigation will put a hurting on it, but regular phone and email use will last me 2 days without a charge.

My wife has a Blackberry Storm 2 and doesn't really like my Droid, but then again I don't like her Blackberry.

The coolest things about my Droid is the Free Google navigation. It is pretty darn good. I put it right up there with Garmin, and the maps are always updated.

Any address you find in a web search, just hold your finger on it for second and it will take you directly to Maps and Navigation. Worth the price of admission right there.

Can you tell I like my Droid?

Im with itsfit, i have had at&t for many years, went to verizon for a short while, and came back to att. i have had the iphone4 for about 4months and it has been great. I get better cell coverage with att here then i did with my verizon phone. Inside, i could not make a clear connection on verizon. It was choppy and dropped a lot. With my iphone and att, i have had no problems with call connections or clearity.

I watched a video about the verizon iphone4, and they said two things will be different with the on iphone on verizon. 1 is it will not work out of country, and 2 is you can not multi-task on the phone like you can with the att iphone. Kind of a bummer.

The original Droid did not have battery life issues. After reading online it has to do with the processor or operating system of the DG2 i think? Not a phone guru. Both the wives and my phone with the GPS off, wifi off, screen on low, phone set to USA only and app killers installed last about 8 hours before they need to be charged. If we use them for surfing with wifi on the life dies much faster. I even called Verizon to ask if our phones have issues but they said for the D2G this is normal.

I do love the Nav! It even shows a picture of the destination when you arrive! Much better than my built in Nav in my truck.
