no, but i do not like where this idea is headed. Slowly they keep taking away freedoms. First, modified cars, then motorcycles and atvs next.

this war over in iraq has cost $1154980587642. that money has been robbed from the u.s. citzens from tax increases and robbing it from social security. why are they worrying about cars being modified when it brings job security to people and revenue to the states and communities from speeding tickets

Ha, i dont know really? Just like in the state of washington, they are removing plates from many street legal KTM motorcycles and deeming them unable to be street legal now even if they have all the proper equipment. Thats a fair amount of annual money the state loses in license fees now. Doesnt make sense.
I listen to Dave Ramsey, and he did a little segment where he took the income of the governement, how much they spend, and how much national debt we had, and used ratios to bring it down as if the government had an average salary. Made it easier for all of us to understand. Basically, if Dave said if you lived like the government you would make about $53,000 a year, spend about $75,000 a year, and have about $320,000 in credit card debt. And the budget cuts they have proposed, would bring our annual spending down to only $73,000 a year. (I dont remember his exact numbers, but it was about that). Really shows the kind of hole we as a nation are in financially. Imagine if that was what your check book looked like every year.
Showing your point of a loss of revenue a different way. Not trying to take it off topic.

Always remember Freedom is not Free. I have 2 sons going to Afganistan real soon. Will be 5 tours total between the 2 of them, between Irag and Afganistan. I just hope it's for a good reason. I'm sure it is. I spent my time in and I'm still free. No matter how bad it is here it's still pretty good. We at least have the right to buck the system. Sometimes we win.

my hat is off to all 3 of you guys. I wish your sons a safe return home. I too hope this is worth it. I just get frustrated when those that we chose to lead our country dont always do it in the best interest of the people IMO.
Thank you for your service.

Sometimes our choices are a matter of a coin toss. How sad. It would be nice if our political parties would work together.
What they need is some atv time together. I think it would help.

I wonder, does the intestinal fortitude still exist enough in the American public, that we would be willing to take back our freedoms if it came right down to it?
Every year I hear about another freedom being removed from us. Another "no I'm sorry but you are not adult enough to handle something like this so we are banning it" bill.
I think our forefathers, who would revolt over the slightest infringement of their freedoms, would die again before living in what we call the US.

There are about a billion problems they should be focused on wayyyyy before anything with cars, trucks, ATV's, etc....
The country is going down the toilet and the politicians are arguing over what color the water is….
