The RZR Mask - New Gear -
The RZR Mask
I found this new cool piece of gear today and had to share. If it works it should be as regular a piece of riding gear as a helmet! I hate it when we spend a day shooting down dusty trails and end up eating dirt all day, or go to the dunes and get a mouth full of sand the first time your buddy decides to roost you. I have always tried bandannas but they never work, they always fall off or end up flapping in the breeze. That's why I am so excited about this new piece of gear. On top of that, they look cool too!
I decided to be the guinea pig and ordered a few today. Some riding buddies and I will be taking our first trip of the season in search of the dusty trails we always seem to find. When we get back I will be posting up a full review with pictures and any details we find. This should be fun, its a good reason to plan a trip and also try out a cool new product. Keep an eye on the "Product Review" section for my review in a few weeks.

Yea I am here working with Doug. My wife has a polaris so I am a lurker most of the time.. Figured I would share this one because it really should be a standard part of our gear. I am tired of being all dirt face after a ride and I can imagine what our lungs look like. Look at it as I am looking out for your health. LOL

Huh, interesting. If it breaths as well as a standard breath box for snowmobiling (and by the looks of it, it really should!) then i think it would be a great product.
I have used HJC's breath box on my HJC helmet snowmobiling before, and I did sweat a lot but never had a problem with the breath box itself.

I use to ride the dunes a LOT and a mask was essential. That said, for $10 you can get virtually the same thing at any ski shop and it works good, not great. All of those holes for ventilation let dust, dirt and sand get inside of it and feel like sandpaper real quick--I've been there with the ski masks that have fewer holes. The best solution I ever found for dust/sand was a simple painters mask... It is a full "helmet sock" and will keep all of the crap out. Very cheap...get several for a few bucks, have a fresh one for each ride over several days and then wash them like the rest of your laundry.
