What oil mixture for ETON
I know its not a Polaris but I just bought my Grandson a used Eton Rascal 40cc quad. Does anybody no what the gas/oil mixture ratio is for this little quad? The owners manual I got online say 50:1 but there is a sticker on the gas tank cover that says 30:1? Right now I have it mixed at 40:1 seems to run ok but don't want to burn it up. I have tried contacting Eton america but have not received any answere back.

40:1 is probably okay. Wouldnt be surprised if it was 50:1....when in doubt, I just always refer back to the default for all 2strokes of 32:1. The worst you can do there is foul out plugs faster. eton is a great little machine btw...the eton viper 90's are actually a better quad then the polaris outlaw 90's in suspension and engine. and both polars and eton use a lot of parts from aeon. (Yes, polaris doesnt make their 50 and 90 models, they just put their sticker on it.)

Thanks for the info Blueline, It seems to be built pretty well and runs great. The grandson is only 5 and is a small kid so I wanted something small to start him out on. I did not want to spend alot of money on something he is going to out grow in 2 years. I think I will stay with the 40:1 using Castrol T-2 full synthetic and premium fuel without corn sqeezins in it.
