tiny slime air pump

I was reading the "What do you carry on your ATV" thread the other day and one of the members talked about a air pump he could fit in his back storage box. along with a bunch of other items. So today while I was at auto zone I stoped by the air pump area and found this one for $9.99 if its as good as my old ones (that are biger but fit in the box with little else) and with this price I could get one for all my ATVs.

Here are a couple pictures of it.. it also has a small led that turns on when it is pluged in but not on. it connects with a screw on type conector.

anyone had anything bad/good luck with these?

Probably just fine for emergency use. I doubt it will hold up for continued use. GOOD FIND!!

Own it, and so far it works very well. I've used mine 5 or 6 times, once to re-inflate a tire I had just plugged (first ride out BTW). I was surprised how fast it brought it up to 7 psi from completely flat. I don't know that it would work well in a car tire, but for these low pressure systems I think it does very well. I own a fairly small campbell hausfield one too, but it wouldn't fit in the rear storage box, so I got this one.

Hey Darwin, I haven't seen that particular one but I've carried a similar one for over a year that I got at walmart. It is a kit in a padded case with a small bottle of slime and a air gauge. It also includes a cig plug for the aux power outlet and clip on and screw on cords for those machines without aux outlet. The cost was $15 or $18. I've used it dozens of times (mostly on others machines) and it works great. The compressor itself looks to be the same but without the built in gauge. The entire kit is only slightly larger than the one you found. I also added a small pack of plugs and plug tool.
My rear compartment holds this kit along with a 25' tow strap, Yuasa booster cables, the factory tool kit, a can of fix-a-flat and vise grips. I also have a small survival kit in a ziplock bag with a mini flash light, band-aids, spare cigarettes and lighter, 1/4 roll of TP and a snickers bar....(If I could only figure out a way to get the kitchen sink in there...)
It's a tight fit but I've used just about everything in there at one time or another to save the day and turn a disaster into a minor inconvenience.
