Mississippi River Floodwater
The MS. River floodstage at Memphis,TN is 34FT and river is expected to rise to 44FT. Not counting the tremdous rain we have had in the past few days. Still raining now. It will rise to around 47 ft or more from what people are saying. This will be higher than ever, even more than the flood in the 30's. I hope the levee don't break as I only live about 2 miles from the levee. Lots of farmland underwater now. Just want to see if anyone else was living near the floodzone. We have also had alot of strightline winds and tornado (funnel clouds) activity in our area the past couple weeks.

You guys have had some crazy weather. Our ATV Guru bumper production has had some major delays because of the weather and power outages. They just cant weld without power! Best of luck and stay dry!

The weather has been terrible so far this year for that part of the country. I hope the levey holds too. Hopefully you will have time to make it to higher ground if does let go!!! Makes me wonder what the hurricane season will be like here. Good luck!!

We have roads closed all over around here on the count of flooding but we have not had the bad weather like you guys have. Stay safe.

Parts of the levee are closed to vehicle traffic now. Soon the complete levee will be closed to traffic and tickets will be issued to those who violate. Patroling by the sherriff's dept and I have even heard of the National Guard will be coming to help with patrol. Alot of local flooding occuring now. We have the largest pumping plant near us but if the water keeps rising it will create so much head pressure that the pumps won't help. The name of the pumping staion is W G HUXTABLE pumping plant near Marianna,AR.

I'm down by new Orleans but the high stages of the mississippi river are causing the Bonnet carre spillway to open nxt week...bad part is, the spillway is the only decent place to ride within 2hrs of me.
Hope you and your family stay safe, we know all too well about levees breaking around here.

It is still raining alot in the area. Heavy rain today. In the past few days I think it has rained about 3". The school my kids attend is closed today due to flooding in the outside areas. Found out school was closed after driving 35 miles to take them to school. LOL. Water is rising alot. Sewer ponds that have about a 12ft levee around them are under water. The Mississippi River levee is closed to traffic as of yesterday.
