2012 US Presidential Election

I was curious with the election coming up in November how everyone stood as of today. Simple poll; Democrat or Republican?

Hopefuuly the rest of WI thinks this way, as right now we have a governor (Walker) that the dems are trying to recall. This is kinda dumb as he brought our state from a couple million in the hole to actually having a balanced budget. There are actually some school districts in the state that have a 1.5 million surplus, all because he messed with the collective bargaining agreements of the unions, the surplus was just from changing insurance companies cause the unions owned it and was overcharging everyone. All the dems are pissed. I guess they like debt, just like President, you know all families when you get deep in debt spend more to get out!! Right? LOL

I don't thin their going to get enough signitures, I hope not anyways. I love asking them why they want to recall a guy who did what he said he would?? Most don't rePly then I fallow up with or do you enjoy being lied to lol.

Yeah I hope they don't, most people when I ask why they don't like him they always talk about the collective agreement and having to pay into their retirement and benefits.
All I can say is well you work in a taxpayer funded job why should I have to pay 100% of my retirement plus yours while you pay nothing, and yet you still make double what I do, we as taxpayers are way to generous and like you said he did exactly what he said he would which is refreshing for a change.

I can't vote in this poll. I think there isn't much real difference between these two parties. One wants to run for the destruction of our personal freedoms and the other wants to jog quickly. You have to ask yourself what freedom means to you.

Freedom is the ability to live your life with the least amount of government intrusion as possible.

I gotta hand it to the Dems, at least their up front about it.

Since I live in Iowa (Sioux County) we get a lot of action here because of the caucus and because we are about 95% Republican (God's country). I was at a roundtable discussions with Perry and he was a complete dud. If he could get half as excited about running for President as I get when i get on my 850 he'd stand a much better chance. I saw Santorum at Dordt College and he was excellent. Going to see him this afternoon again. If you have the chance to see him speak make an effort to do so.
