Sorry I am not answering on how it works but thanks for the link, it does look pretty kewl.
I hope someone here has tried it out & can chime in on how good it is.

check out WIGuY's video in the "media" section. It's called "trail ride with brother-in-law". He told me this is the kind of camera he uses. They're not HD but they look really good for the price of the glasses.

My buddy got a pair, he's not one for reading directions but had some trouble with making them work. That may have just been him tho. Think if I was going to buy any camera for trail riding it would be a gopro. They shoot great video, their water proof and vertially indestructible. I've seen videos where guys have had them come off their bikes, tumble down the rd at a high rate of speed the rider stop pick up the camera and they are still recording
