trail boss front brake master cylinder
Here's a good question for you...I was messin around with my sons 1990 trilboss... i pulled the brake lever and snapped where it bolts to the master cylinder...great! now I have to replace the master cylinder because that is all cast as one piece......Does it really matter what polaris i get a front brake master cylinder from?...are the brake line diameters and threads standard on polaris? are the handlbar dias standard ( or close enough) on polaris?

I don't see why that would make a proprietary master cylinder for the Trail Boss. SO I agree that its quite probable another model will fit and do the job.
If that doesn't work, I have had very good luck with Babbitt's. http://www.babbittsonline.com/
