Fox Shock Problem

04 pred dale jr. edition with fox shock all the way around. My problem is on my rear shock I turned the red dial on the bottom of the shock counter-clockwise trying to loosen the shock but i think i went too far because it no longer clicks justs acts like its on a thread even when turned clockwise. Plus the shock doesnt feel like it has any pressure on it and it too soft now but cant get it harder. Anybody tell me whats going on here???

I think my resivior is on 4 but it doesn't seem to make a difference what I set it at. The dial that's messed up on me is on the shock shaft down toward the swingarm.
