rear brake inop on 2005 trail boss 330

Hello from Colorado,

I'm helping a neighbor with his trail boss 330, the rear brake pedal has no pressure. i bleed the rear brake caliper for a while but still no luck. is there a certain way to bleed the rear brakes or a special trick?? any idea please let me know!

Had the same problem with mine. Worked on it for hours before I figured out what was wrong. Had an airlock between reservoir and master cylinder. Fluid wouldn't go down the tube from the reservoir. Took one of those small bamboo skewers you use to make kebabs and shoved it down the hole in the reservoir. Moved it up and down a few times and eventually I saw air bubbles coming out of the hole. A straightened coat hanger would probably also work. Other way you could try is to detach the rubber hose at the master cylinder until you see fluid coming out, then reattach it. Once you get fluid into the master cylinder you're OK.

Just a thought, you could try squeezing the rubber tube with the bleeder open. That might suck fluid into the tube from the reservoir. No such problem with the hand brake because master cylinder and reservoir are in same unit and you can't get an airlock between the two.
