All I know of is to put taller tires on with regards to the swing arm & straight axle in the rear. If it's a 4x4 I'm almost certain you
should go the same step up for the front & rear. Meaning if you go with a
2" taller tire in the rear you go with 2" taller in the front also even if they're 2 different sizes already.
This is to keep the same gear ratio for the 4x4 working properly.
Good luck with that though as you may need to change rims.
If it's just rear wheel drive, then taller tires on the rear will raise the axle
up more for more clearance with no worry in regards to the front.
Of course taller tires may change the power a bit.

Scott,
Why does having the same size tire matter with the 4x4? I am a noob when it comes to 4 wheelers so explain this to me, as I'm pretty sure the trailboss 4x4 I just bought has 2 different sized tires. Will damage occur if I don't have the same sized tires?
Thanks

My thinking is if it came stock with different size tires front & back, then
the 4x4 is set up for these sizes to work properly. If you change the rears
to the same as the front, then the ratio will be off for the 4x4 gearing
(that's how I see it). If you go bigger in diameter, just go the same for
the front & rear, meaning 2" bigger in the back, then 2" bigger in the front.
This is my third try replying to this post and it keeps getting messed up
with the preview and losing it.
