Auxiliary brake on a 1997...
I'm a new owner of a 1997 Big Boss and I'm fixing some brake problems.
In looking over the svc manual I see where other models (Sportsman I believe) have what they call an "auxiliary" brake. I also see where some models have a foot brake.
The manual isn't clear, but I'm hoping the auxiliary brake is connected to either a lever or foot pedal mounted on the right hand foot plate. If anyone can confirm this I'd greatly appreciate it. Pics would be even better.
If that is the case it seems like it would be relatively easy to modify the Big Boss with this same system. I suspect I'd need a new foot plate, drive shaft brake caliber, and any of the linkages, pedal / lever.
