Steering Bind...

I noticed when I had my machine out after some routine maintenance and cleaning, that the steering was binding at almost full lock when turned to the left. The bars turn freely until about 3/4's of the way then I really have to push it to turn more. Turning to the right has no issues, it goes all the way to the stops without an issue. I dont think its in the bars or in the steering shaft as I disconnected the tie rods at the shaft and it turns both ways freely. Other than that, there really isn't anything that is bent, or broken...

Where to go from here? Thanks!

What machine is this on? Check your front axles and make sure they are good. You said you did maintenance, did you change the front diff. fluid and put the wrong fluid in there? Anything other than the pure polaris fluid can cause you front diff to lock and unlock randomly.

It's on the 800, I rebuilt the front diff right after I got it, it had bad bearings and seals. I use only Polaris spec fluids in both machines that I own. The bind isn't noticeable at any speed more than a crawl, just when getting real technical on the trails or getting it in and out of the garage when you have to put it at full lock...

Right now I have both struts off as I am swapping out wheel bearings tonight. The ball joints seem to be fine, but this is with no weight on it. I always grease everything after each ride...
