2004 Sportsman 500 HO front question

Just bought this yesterday and noticed that the front sits about 2" lower than the rear, the rear sits at the same height as my neighbors 500 so i have to assume the front springs/shocks are worn out. My question is should I buy new springs, shocks or 2" lift and only put the front pieces on? Would like to fix this as cheaply as possible. Running the stock tires for now, might upgrade to a more aggresive tire but will stay with the 25" height. Wife is the main person that will be riding this so no need for 27" tires.

I'm in Denton, Tx btw.

Welcome aboard!! Does you shocks/springs have an adjusting cam on them? Adjusting it softens and stiffens your ride. It would raise and lower your bike some.

the cheapest way would be to add spring rubber spacers but i would change the shocks and springs.

That's just the typical front end sag. All the sportsmans do it. Get the HD springs and install them. $49.99 at the dealer for the set.

HD springs or you could get just the spring spacers for a 2" lift for about the same price. Basically like putting a leveling kit on you truck.

Found the 2" lift on eBay for $40 with free shipping. Installed just the front components, looks great now and drives the same as it did before. Thanks for the advice.
