99 polaris 400 scrambler brake poblems
i've just bought this wheeler a couple weeks ago and been working on it .my main problem is when i try bleeding the brakes when i pump the brakes using the main master cylinder fluid comes out the rear master cylinder .should i take the brake callipers apart and clean them completely or should i replace the rear cylinder the rear brake pedal has no back pressure at all and neither does the front .
im wondering if my rear caliper is getting bleed by .the front brakes try to work but the rear doesnt move at all .
has anyone else had this problem
plus when i got the wheeler the front master cylinder was dry .the old fluid that was in the lines was rusty colored and i've been pumping the system and replacing it with new fluids i have gotten all the old fluid out and its clear colored now .

Hand and foot brake are two separate systems acting on a stepped piston at the rear. Your rear caliper seals are shot. Check the stepped piston as it might be scored. I would dismantle all the calipers and clean/replace pistons and seals as necessary.

I agree, the two systems "meet" in the rear caliper. Otherwise they are seperate. Thats where you need to look!
