Lift kit drive shaft question

We purchased a 04 700 and to replace a front drive shaft. This 04 has a lift already on it but after putting in a new drive shaft we noticed that the shaft does not seem to sit all the way in to the front differential. Attached is a picture and just wondered if this was an issue or what are your thoughts on it.

Did the shaft snap across the c-clip? If so, I don't see a problem.

If it didn't snap on the clip then there will be a chance it will come off the shaft.
