Rear suspention adjustment

Hey guys and gals, I'm having a little trouble adjusting the suspension on my xp. I cant seem to get the tool in there on the rear. And it is super tough to turn on the front.
Any easier ways of doing this? Do I need to take the wheels off? Thanks

If you are having issues than you may need to jack it up off the ground and take the wheels off. If the spanner wrench you have does not fit, you could also use channel locks.

Also just a note, if you have aftermarket HD springs installed it makes it extremely difficult to adjust. I can't even adjust mine unless i compress the springs.

Ok thanks, I do jack it up but it dosnt seem to help too much. I just pull the ATV over! lol but I will give it another try. Thanks for the help! I have stock springs and I really need to adjust the front as I have the plow on and it rubs on the ground pretty much all the time. And I'm losing traction, would that be because the front end is to soft and the rear is too high?

It can be tough because you get sand and grit in behind the adjusters. I've put the spanner wrench on and then used channel lock pliars on the handle of the spanner wrench to get enough leverage to turn it. Works good, just a little awkward.

Ya I have a. Steel bar that I use to take nuts of wheels, and I think I'm gonna try that.

As far as the traction goes, add some weight to your rear rack. Weight and lower tire pressure will aid your traction in snow.

Ok I might just try that. My awd won't stay in long enough to make a full sweep so I start spinning sideways and then I have to come almost to a complete stop and then it kicks back in. But by then I have lost all my momentum. It's kinda hard on the front end though, isn't it?

umm... i found the polaris tool to suck really, i bought the adjusters for my x2 ( for the front, because it doesnt have any adjuster) and it came with the tool, i cut off a piece of it to use on my rear shocks ( dealer never gave me the tool kit
i renembered about it and tryed it , its maybe 1inch onger than the stock one from polaris, and doesnt have the clutch hook .
i did not jack up my wheels i just " pushed" so instead of a constant pulling, i made little pulls as strong as i could as fast as i could....
nope i helped,
