97 xplorer rear shock replacement
The rear shock on my xplorer 300 is completely shot you came push the bike down with one finger. I am currently reseaching my options ihave found replacement shocks for about 80 bucks oem for about 120 bucks used on ebay complete with springs any were from 15 to 100 bucks. inotice in factory specs that the xplorer 400 has larger diameter shock 1 3/8'' opposed to 1'' for the 300. im a bigger guy and am trying to figure out if a 400 shock would bolt up on a three hundred ? does the 400 have more damping? are the springs heavier? woul i be better of just buying a new replacement?
