05 sportsman front lower ball joint removal
im trying to replace the front axle bearings and im struggling with the lower control arm joint, do i need a pickle fork ? i have one for a car but not a small one to fit this bike. whats the best way to seperate this joint? thanks all

i guess i dont need to remove the joint just seperate it from the a arm its tight . should i try heat?

Usually a couple hits with a hammer on the knuckle of the control arm and it seperates,but i have used a car pickle fork too,just be careful not to rip the grease seal.

I use 2 hammers, hold one on the a-arm by joint and hit it hard with another , large hammer
