brakes on 09 xp 550

how many miles should you get out of a set of brakes thanks

i had to replace pads all the way around at about 300 miles on my 09' 550xp, seems like they didnt last long at all, but i ride pretty hard, mud, and going down big hills, fast with hard braking, so i guess its depends on a few factors

are they highway or city miles?,,,lol,, jus kidding. I agree with kling, it all depends on how you ride, if you ride alot of open fields, it's kinda like a highway, if you ride a lot of tight turning and hilly trails, kinda like the city. What i did one time since i didnt know how thick a new pad looked like... i took a pad to the dealer and asked them.
