Bleeder screw
The bleeder screw on my 93 Trail Boss 250 has sheared off flush. Does anyone have a good way to remove them--seems it may be in there and siezed.
Can the caliber be redrilled and a new screw added?
thanks before hand.

Bleeder screw
Thanks for your relply. I've had it soaking in penatrating fluid now for 36 hrs--no luck. Maybe I sould take it to a machinist and have him/her a go at it? Or could I turn it right side up--fill the caliber with DOT3 then carefully purge all the air out of the line then re-attach the line to the caliber. Of course I would have to preform this operation with the caliber hanging off the router and perhaps jam a block between the brake pads to do this method.

I'm not driving fast and I have back brakes--I might even try just applying a clamp to the front brake on the bad side.

you could do that. but if i understand what your doing correctly, its goin to make that wheel not wanna turn. and you might not be able to get the tire on because the clamp could be in the way. but that is something you would just have to take the tire off and look at.

What I meant was just put alamp on the brake hose going to that wheel.. It is done often on cars when a break line hose has failed as a temporary fix.
