2009 Polaris 550 XP...is this a good price
Very low miles and hours. Less than 120 miles.
Black in color.
remote control winch
Asking $5999....
I will always ask down, but just wandering if this is a good price? I love the color (all black) and I really like the 550 XP as it is the most comfortable ATV I have ever ridden.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If it's a non-EPS, the book retail is around $5800 without the winch, which would put it around $6000. I would offer him $5000 and maybe settle for $5300. Now, if it's an EPS model, that's a different story.
Always check the retail and book values at Motorcycle - Trade-In Values & Retail Prices - Kelley Blue Book
They are not 100% accurate, but at least they give you an idea.

I'm with northbranch on this one. Offer 5,000.00. I think 5900 is a bit high. Like was asked, does it have EPS? That is a 1500 option at new prices. In that case 5900 would not be bad, but it won't hurt to try and get it for 5.

mine two years ago brand spankin' new was 7800 so i think it seems a little. I have heard 15% depreciation first year 10% second year and 5% third year and on... with that calculation its about right for the asking price depending on condition some people are pretty hard on their wheelers...mine is a 2009 550 xp 1100 miles or so and only has a couple scuffs in it and its used on my farm with me as sole driver helps...offer less ...see what you can do they are good machines..good luck

Agree. Price is kind of high for a 550 non EPS. 5K is what its worth.
