Fuel packs - Kolpin vs Rotopax

Was looking at adding a fuel pack or 2 since the 2010 Sportsman 850 XP EPS isn't the most fuel efficient beast around . Not that I would trade it in for better fuel milage . Been looking at both Kolpin 1.5 gal and Rotopax 2 gal. Kolpin is about half the price but reading reviews, they appear to leak. Anybody have any opinions on this. I would rather spend the extra money than having my extra fuel on the ground. Just looking to verify what I am reading is true

Rotopax is the bomb, and well worth the $$ !

ive had both rotopax the way to go threw kolpin in the dumpster leaked from day one at the brass vent tried every thing to seal

Rotopax, unless you want half the gas to leak out. I won't buy another Kolpin product because of their leaky paks that they won't make good on.

I've never had kolpin but I read a bunch of reviews like the ones above before buying my rotopax. They've been through hell and back with no issues. Pricey, but worth it.

There is no comparison. Rotopax is the only way to go. Sure, they cost a bit more but are well worth the money in the long run.

Too bad companies like Koplin don't read through forums like this to get feedback on their products. If they did, maybe they would see what a bad rap they get by selling "junk".

I would send them this link, but they would just ignore it and say "don't believe anything you read on the internet".

Thanks guys. Got a 1.5 gal Kolpin for Christmas and was wondering whether to even mount it. Sounds like Rotopax is the way to go.
