Polaris "integrated" winches ?

Any feedback on these newer "integrated" winches Polaris offers ? I know install is super easy but how do they hold up ? It would be going on a 17' sportsman 1K

LOL lets not open that can of worms again!!!! I prefer superwinch no doubt but am don't know about any available aftermarket mounting brackets for this new 1K....

I don't know anyone around here who runs a newer Polaris winch. My 850 had one but surprisingly I never had to it.

I put one on my 850 for the easy install even though it is a little pricey. It has been flawless so far, and I would imagine that it will continue to be until it fails, which is the story for every winch.

On my new 850 I went with the Polaris winch. You do pay a little bit more but the simplicity and ease of installation made it entirely worth it in my opinion. The winch is from Warn, I know some people feel some type of way about that but in my off-roading world with vehicles I have a bias toward sticking with them for their reliability. On my 850 it is 4 bolts to the frame and the winch is installed. You then hook the power and ground cables and that is the hardest part. The switch and harness is all built into the package right from the factory so the hardest part there is cutting the zip ties and clipping them in. That's it

I put a 2500 Polaris winch on my 570. However I don't do a lot of riding where I will be winching myself or others out of mud etc. Just some light plowing a couple times a year and what ever else lite use I might have. I am not good at all at wiring etc. so for me it was a no brainer. 15 minutes and it was done.

Thing is, Fuse will give it a workout out each ride; no offense but hus winching is like ours, count on using it multiple times every time you throw a leg over for ine reason or another straining on it by near overload lol

If he goes this route and it holds up, i wouldnt consider them the mega cheap knock off they are. Somebody said warn stopped the polaris line of winches after 2016. So now gotta find out who is making an even cheaper product yet because the last thing polaris is going to do is spend money on making anything reliable

It will get put to use it no doubt, was offered a discount on it with the new machine purchase so with that factored in I'm gonna give it a shot....will post back how it holds up.
