Grizzly fender storage bin add on?
Has anyone added the grizzly's front fender storage bin to their polaris? Got pictures?
I was thinking about adding one to the right rear fender.

I had the storage bin on my 700 grizzly before I sold it. lol. That thing is completely waterproof. I never even thout of putting it on the polaris. I wish you would have posted this about 2 weeks ago when I still had the grizz and I may have fooled around with the idea a bit. Be sure to post pics if you do.
I just don't think it would clear the tires with how low you would have to put it on the front fender of the polaris in order to clear the front box. Here is a photo that sort of shows where it is located in the grizz fender so you can think about the relationship to the wheel if it was any lower, and also how waterproof it is.

I agree. That is why i am looking at the right rear fender at the very top. Do you know how big is the box?

I think it was about 8" long by 4" wide by about 2.5" deep. I usualy only put a pair of gloves, knit hat, wallet and keys in there.

Grizzly
lostcause,Mike here.I gotta buddy with a 2008 grizly 700.He has continous problems with the bike setting down in deep water. He can go in deep water to top of seat and stand it up and it dies.Whats up with this?Do you know? It's like it has a roller-over switch or something.I saw your last responce (picture)and it will stand up but will not stay up.As soon as he stands it up,it will sink even if he is on the rear rack.Any ideas?Oh,I agree with you on ALTO,tooooo dangerous for some of us and the wife, not counting being able to take your clothes back home and getting them clean enough to wear to work.Watching this post,Thanks,Mike

I've been thinking about this for quite a while myself. Almost figured to rig up a screw top plastic tub that my protein supplements come in but using a Grizz Box might be the perfect idea. Please do post if you try this. If I come up with an aswer before hand I will post as well.

Backpressure is one issue that is possible. If you do not stay in the throttle when going deep, the water will put too much back pressure on your exhaust and cause it to die out. I remedied this by turning up the idle a little and just being conscious not to let out of the throttle too much. Other thing you can do is modify the spark arrestor to decrease backpressure or get an aftermarket exhaust. An issue also that I never noticed on the grizz but have noticed on my polaris, is that if the fuel is low and I stand it up the motor spits and sputters because of it not getting enough fuel. Also make sure your buddy uses dielectric grease on all the connections, especially the spark plug boot. Getting the spark plug wet without the grease on there will cause the machine to die. And lastly, the stock snorkels on the grizz are nice and high from factory, but splashing water in the air intake will also cause you to die out. I loved my grizz, thing was bulletproof.
