Cover for Trailering

I live in MI where they love to salt the roads during the winter and have a few questinos about trailering ATV on open trailer during the winter.
1) Do you use a cover when trailering your ATV.
2) If you do does it cause wear on the paint from flopping in the wind.
3) Has anyone found a good quality cover that will with stand the beating on an open trailer?

I would definitely use a cover if the roads are sloppy. All of that salt spray will get all over the machine and accelerate the rust. If the roads are dry then either way is fine.

I use a cover when trailering. I bought a cover from Cabelas it's good quality and hasn't bothered the finish.

Do not buy a dura shield one, it only lasted 3 trips before shredding.
