ATV horn?
Very often, when my children (or anyone for that matter) are riding in front of me, I need to get their attention. I've always wished my atv had a horn (the noisy kind, not the pokey kind).
Has anyone here installed a horn on their atv? If so, can you recommend a brand as far as price and ease of install?

If you want loud, consider a Stebel air horn. I had one on my Kawasaki Mean Streak and you could hear it a long way away.

I bought a regular car horn from o;reillys, they make a high and low pitch, they are small enough to fit in the bottom of headlight pod, then wire into cig lighter, I use a spring loaded toggle switch and mount it onthe lefr side of headlight pod, keeps wiring short and simple

I have been thinking of coming out with a atv horn kit at TheATVSuperStore.com. Just not sure there is enough demand for it? I also want to install one on my quad.

That sounds like a great idea. Just to let everyone know they make universal horn buttons that you can use instead of a toggle switch. The standard ignition part# is HB6B.

I'd be interested if there was a useful, easy to install option available. I wonder why they are not equipped from factory? You don't need a horn often, but when you do it would sure beat yelling! I have a pretty deep, booming voice but when everyone has their helmets on I may as well whisper! LOL!

A horn is on my todo list, if I can find the right one.

I got mine from my dealer and wired it up with a kill switch button to actuate it. Just use a universal motorcycle horn and you will be all set.
