snowmobile trails

so... where i live the snowmobile trails are open to atv's when the temp is below 28. Is it ok for these sportsman's to be in AWD all day or for long rides? In the summer i don't trail ride with AWD on all the time...i just switch it on when needed. I thought i read somewhere that you shouldn't ride with AWD on all the time...but not sure.

thoughts? tia

The way the AWD is designed you can run it forever. It only engages if it senses real wheel slip.

I leave mine on. No issues. Then you don't have to think about it when it's needed. It's good to go!
