belt question
so on take off my 4 wheeler doesn't get up in speed to quickly but rpms are a bit high, then at about 30 km/h it feels like the belt catch's and it operates fine, is this my belt worn thin? or something clutch wise? i have the stock belt with 3300km s.

Sometimes it takes awhile to get an answer, wait and it will come...
It does sound like your belt is slipping. It's probably very dirty with belt dust in there. Have you ever removed the cover and cleaned it yet? Not sure how old your bike is but I have an 01 with 3500 "miles". (I thought all Polaris models were in miles) and I had to change the belt as it was very worn (thin), I have other issues also like "creeping" ahead ,but anyways... Change the belt , do a thorough cleaning with compressed air and you should be Ok. (check you tube for information on dressing and checking your sheaves, even changing the belt ,it's easy)
One other issue mine has that I guess is quite common is the lower front engine mount wears out and lets the engine move around a little throwing off the clutch belt pulleys alignment. You might want to look at this too while your in "repair" mode.Take a long bar and try to lift the engine at the mount, if you see the mount start to separate , time to replace. If you change it yourself it's only $25
Good luck....
