Tire size on stock 11' 850xp
What are the biggest size tires that will fit under a 850 without a lift?

I have seen 31's with shocks turned up and a little bit of rubbing. 29.5's is the largest I would go without a lift though.

i have a stock 55o, the same build as you, and i just now stuck 29.5 Outlaw 2's... the mud grips are freaking ridiculous huge, and i dont rub, but its close... i wouldnt go noooo bigger than the 29.5's... even with the 29.5's, you have to worry about kicking up sticks and rocks into the fender, so definitely no bigger...

Mods
Did you have to do any other mods to the bike when you put on the 29.5s? Such as a clutch kit? I have an '09 850XP and am looking at putting on a set of 27s but am being told that the larger size will rob performance. Have you experienced this?
Thanks!

i havent had any extra mods or anything put on... no clutch kit or anything... i just got them, and havent had a chance to take it out into the mud pits yet, but i do hear that it decreases the back end power, which i why i am considering a clutch kit... but as far as riding it just around, no i havent noticed any change... ive ridden just down some trails and ditches, and noticed no change... i love the 29.5's... but to answer your question, no i have no extra mods, and no havent noticed any change yet...

I have Dominator 28.5x12-14" in all 4 corners on MSA diesel wheels and spring in softest possision. On landing I get a little rubbing in front thats all.

I have 30" Zilla's 9" fronts 11" rears. They barely touched the rear footwell flare. No need to trim, the tires made it perfect.
