polaris predator oil in the air box

so im getting confused here...
where IS the oil suppose to be?

i should open it and check to see if there is any oil in the box?

Just open the air box and pull out the filter. Then look in the bottom of the air box. You will be able to see right away if there is oil in there or not. I've read some people's air filters have been soaked with oil as well.

so..... my airbox is dry as a bone....

P.S. although my 850 was clean i did find some oil in my x2-800's airbox... not much but maybe MAYBE a teaspoon if i scraped everything off...
any idea why it might be there?

Some blow by is normal. That is the purpose of the vent. With only 250KM on your machine, I would keep an eye on it. Mine didn't start until I had over 860 miles on it. Not a big deal if it does happen sometime and the fix is easy. Plenty of info about it on this site.
