hmm.... have they tried to bypass the cluster?
and also... check the wires... might be something as easy as faulty ground or a loose wire here and there....
is it at your place or at the dealer?
might also be a loose connection.....
seeing how things are, a cable might look ok but might have been broken inside... that same problem happened with my old car... a power wire was shot and only worked with the door open (power windows) after the stealer replaced fuses, fuse box... switch... electrical motor.... i was the only one to suggest a wire change ( hell it was the cheapest thing they did @ 150$) they laughed.. but after everything and i mean EVERYTHING was changed out they replaced the wires and it worked.....
just goes to show that it might be the smallest thing that seems impossible...
they should look for rust... and check connections if they have contacts or not...
not much help... but its better than nothing right?
