Question Strange Clunk

Good Day All,

So yesterday some friends and I went out riding yesterday. The ride consisted of a lot of icy trails and hills. While riding yesterday I had to switch from 2x4 to 4x4 a few times, all of which were done at a stop. At one point I was riding down this hill in 4x4 and touched my hand break, as I did that I heard this loud clunk come from underneath my quad. I heard it a few more times throughout the day both in 2x4 and 4x4.

Just wondering if anyone would know what to check to make sure everything is still in good working order.
