Make sure the tether kill switch is properly seated in place. If it is test it to make sure it works properly. Make sure key switch is in the on position. Look at the small rocker switch on the left hanldle bar. Make sure it's on and working properly. Make sure the battery is fully charged. My son has the same atv and the tether is starting to mess up and work loose sometimes.

tt425 thanks for your response. I checked continuity on back of handle bar kill switch, didn't think about checking flow of current at the time. what are you referring to when you say tether?

The safety kill switch near the key switch. It has the cord on it that has a velcro strap that attaches to the riders wrist.

Stator Testing:
Black to:
W/R 110 +/- 20
Blk/Red 780 +/- 30
Y/R 0.5
W .06
Ground 0
Have seen many of these where just cleaning the stator and the flywheel and restting the gap has worked. You will have to pull the flywheel to accomplish though. Otherwise if its bad your in for about $130, I have 3 bad ones hanging on my work bench!

Cool, make sure you set the gap on the stator and flywheel to .020-.040". Good luck!
