loss of power??? Throttle dies out??

05 700 EFI. After riding a few hours the bike started to cut of and die. I would give it throttle and no power like the fuel filter is clogged or perhaps the fuel pump? any thoughts??

after letting the bike sit for 2 min then riding off it drove perfect for another hour until I loaded up. it never did it again.
