new (used) 425 polaris magnum 4x4

I have a chance to get a 1998 Polaris 425 Magnum 4x4..I was just wondering if these are good machines or do they have alot of problems.And if they do have problems what are they seriuos or not?Thank you for your help.

good machines, bullet proof engine, hardest thing about them is the 3 chains and 6 sprockets, adjusting, lubing and replacing them is something you have to keep up with, I have a 97 with probably 9,000 miles , am on my 3rd or 4th set of chains,and sprockets

I heard about there being three chains kind of made me alittle nervous never owned a polaris machine before.Thanks again guys.
