What part of rac are you actually going to? Where I ride(St.Clair) everyone parks their trucks/trailers on the side of the road(the burma). It's sorta like a dirt parking lot.

Yeah, Pottsville is about 4 miles south of St. Clair. During the summer it gets crazy up there! People from all over the area and from out of state come up for the weekends. A lot of the out of staters bring campers with them and stay over night.

Yes, they bring their campers and ruin it for the people that have been riding there for 25 years.

It's the a$$holes that think it's ok to just dump their trash and construction waste by the truck full that's going to ruin it for the rest of us. My ex brother inlaw owns anthracite protective services and he even says it's getting bad lately. It pisses me off when I'm riding and see trash just dumped in piles and can't understand why people drive up there to dump when most of the crap I see you can throw out in you weekly garbage. I was amazed when they found all them tombstones up there a few weeks ago!

The folks in the RAC office told us they know it's the locals and not the permit buying riders who are doing the dumping. That's why they have burmed up the access along Burma Rd

Plenty of parking off Berma Road.

Make sure you have a 2012 permit. They were out there towing off Berma road last week when I was up there. I unloaded behind Home Depot and parked the rig in that lot to avoid all that hassle since i didn't have my 2012 permit yet. I park off High Street on the Trevorton side and not at the coal hill. There is a nice new lot the AOAA created off that road that's nice and coal dust free.
