That's why I own this.
It floats better and I can carry passengers.

LOL @ Tull. Anton, I couldn't agree more. Unless you know the person personally who is selling it, buying an 'off-road' vehicle used is a huge risk. A lot of people buy these things to beat on them instead of their car.

I've got to disagree with buying used. 3 0f my 4 quads I purchased used. The Polaris has not been tested yet, but my two Can-Ams have been great. I also had a used Honda that was great, until it was stolen.

I'm kind of in the same boat AntonioDef. (haha no pun intended)

4x4 and water cool definitely have a lot of extra complexities. I wouldn't want to buy one of them used unless I know who owned it or it was obvious that it had never been in mud.

I bought all my 2x4 air cooled bikes used and new what parts needed to be replaced before I got them home.

My ATV-GURU bumpers ARE FOR SALE, front and rear, BRAND NEW. Me a reasonable offer and they are YOURS.

(As you probably already know, they are currently unavailable from TheAtvSuperstore.com /ATV-Guru for an undisclosed amount of time).

Check all fluids and the air cleaner, that would be a good start.

I love watching those vids, but no way in heck could you get me to abuse my ride like that!

Deep down I think that's why I chose to buy new, you just never know.

That's how we ride alot of the time but a bit more carefully. We walk each section checking for holes. Our maintenance is done after every ride and everything cleaned up and greased. I figure if your gonna spend 8k on a bike you might as well enjoy it to the fullest. Most everyone I know that goes deep rarely sell a quad... If it breaks it's an opportunity to start over and make it cooler!
