Good Bye to an Old Friend today

Well you never think much about selling something but I have to admit I kind of had tear in my eye today as I sold my old 97 425 Magnum, looks like it got a good home and guy got a good buy on it.

You think they are just a machine until you see them on the back of somebody's trailer leaving your yard, just does not look right

She served me well and she and I hauled a LOT OF deer out of the woods as well as planted lot of food plots and hung lot of tree stands

Hope she likes her new home and with the steady rain all day and night I am sure the new owner will treat her like I would on a good muddy Saturday am

Wife actually thought I was kidding when I told her it hurt my feelings to see her loaded up and headed down the road

always sad to see ANY machine go...
honestly we seem to grow with them...
they were , for the most part, reliable, giving us some fun time, good memories...
and seeing it all go is like abandoning it after it served you all those years...

im sure its in a better home now... atleast better than scrapping it for parts or something...

its ok though ... after some rides on your new 800 you will slowly forget about it... and move on to this one...

hope you feel better!
and congratulations on your new purchase!

I have had my 250 trailboss 2 stoke for what seems like forever. When I bought my 2012 850 touring limited I could not let go of my 250 even though I did not know what I would do with it. Started riding with a group of friends, one of which has a 9 year old little boy that was riding a 90cc and out growing it quickly. So, now when we go riding I take it along so that he will have a little larger quad to ride. I'm really glad I held on to it.
