Thor is a good guy and here to HELP!! It's not a bad thing that he makes money doing something we all love, is it? I will tell you one thing, he does not get a dime for any of his thousands of helpful posts he makes here. As a matter of fact, as a site sponcer, he PAYS to be here.. do you? (He may well get business BECAUSE of the posts, but he is NOT paid to respond in them.)
As you can see by the responses you have gotten, THOR is a popular and well liked guy round here. Know why? Cause he IS a good guy and he helps people!!
Looking back at this thread, Thor did his best to NOT monopolize your post!! TWICE he responded with "call me". He could very easily sat there and typed out the explanations, but its not who he is. He continually takes the time to go out of his way to help folks. Just like he has attempted to help you.
I think apologies are in order! Take my advice and don't burn the bridge, Thor may just get to help you some more yet...

Thanks for everyone's help. Went ahead and mounted it on the back rack. Can't wait to test them out.

Well I'm new to the site too and i'm at the point were im ready to do anything extra to my 400, but i would not think twice about asking Thor for help. Thanks for all the good post guys.

I have 2 of the Kolpin packs mounted on the front of my '02 500. They fit perfect inside of the rack extentions.

I have 2 of the Kolpin 1.5 gal packs mounted to the side with Kolpin brackets and 1 Kolpin 4 gal pack mounted to the rear of the rear cargo box with a custom made bracket. I hope the photo loaded ok.
