Hello everyone I am new to this site. I have 4 Polaris ATV and love them all.I was wondering has anyone ever upgraded the front struts on there 500. I would like to go stiffer than stock (don't know if just the springs can be changed). Any idea's on parts and a place to get them would be helpful.My sportsman only has 1000 miles on it but the front has alway's been to soft since new.

I have the same bike as you and you can upgrade your front springs only, if you want. If your shocks are working then leave them alone. A set of heavy duty springs are about $100. (I looked at the EPI site ) Shop around though, not sure where the best price and performance springs would be.
HD front springs will be my next upgrade because I use a plow in the winter , but I guess the bike handles better with them anyways....
