new to polaris not sure yet if i made a good choice?

first off hello all! i purchased my first polaris used 2005 mv7 , ive been a hardcore honda man since back when they came on only 3 wheels. i needed a larger machine weight/power for use on my property. it has the power i need for sure and runs well. i havent had it long enough to make a decision its smokes a little under load (blue) and its tough shifting but other than that its a beast! should this machine last if maintained and not abused

Forget everything you know about Honda atv's. None of what you know about them applies. Get a polaris Service manual and SAE tools then spend some time searching and reading this forum and you will be fine.

You did good. I too came from Honda. The Polaris has many more regular maintance issues that need to be addressed but so does every other large ATV.
I still have a museum quality 1985 125M ATC. It's fun when it wants to start but feels like a toy compared to today's ATV and isn't reliable at all.

I too am new to the Polaris family. I also migrated from Japan and the land of Honda. But I only made this move after consderable research. I am sure I made a good choice.
