ATV Safety Course
A buddy and I went yesterday to take this training class and surprisingly I had a great time. The instructor was really informative and made the class fun. I went there not expecting to learn anything, but I actually did learn a couple cool tricks about turning better. I wasn't aware that you DO pay for the class when you buy a new quad. Polaris includes the cost in your final cost so if you don't take it, you're wasting that money. Not to mention the $100 gift card that you get once you've taken the course. I have a question for those of you who have taken the class......how long did it take to get your gift card in??

I teach that class. The folks that have Polaris machines report a 30 to 60 day wait for the gift card. A few were less.

I took that class here in NY last year. It really was worth it. The gift cert came a couple of weeks after. I went to the dealer and picked up a hundred bucks worth of stuff.

I took the class a year ago and never got the gift card. It was a good class though.

I took mine in 2010. I got the check from Honda in 30 days. Polaris came a few days later.

Sometimes I wonder if ATV manufacturers should make it mandatory to take one of these classes? I know it would never fly, but it would be to everyones benefit. I guess they don't make you take a safety course when you buy a gun either. LOL I'm really glad I took this class. You're never too old or experienced to learn something valuable.
